Eos is a wonderful sculpture made by the artist Dessa Kirk. According to Greek mythology Eos is considered to be the goddess of the morning. She rose from her home at the edge of Oceanus, isolated the fog of the night as well as opened the gates of heaven daily. So Helios, the Sun, brother of Eos could ride his chariot throughout the sky.
Commonly portrayed as a supernaturally pretty woman, her tears were assumed to be the morning dew. She is the Goddess of the second generations as well as goddess in Greek mythology named Titans. Eos is situated in 5th Street Median between Brown and Lindsey, Columbus, Indiana, the US and it is on the direction map of N 39° 12.202 W 085° 55.483.
At the age of 1 year, Kirk with her mother went to Anchorage, Alaska. Kirk traveled throughout Europe and North Africa researching sculpture. Kirk has been invited to show her work across the country.
