“Birds of Fire” is a beautiful and splendid sculpture made by Ted Sitting Crow Garner of Washington. “Birds of Fire” is a sculpture made up of steel. Ted Sitting Crow Garner got the inspiration of beautiful and splendid sculpture from a devotional poem written by Sri Chinmoy, a spiritual leader and music of the Mahavishnu Orchestra.

“Birds of Fire” is an art of imagination and the color of the wonderful structure is bright orange. Garner is considered a specialist in installing large sculptures and he lives in Chicago. Garner says that his aim in making the art is to combine aesthetics and power of his national heritage of America with world art history, theory, materials and modern techniques. Garner as an artist as well as an American Indian finds that there are several aspects of life which must be acknowledged in a challenging or complementary fashion.
